Scheduling & Fees
BrainSpace Anxiety & OCD Therapy is a private-pay therapy practice providing specialized treatment for OCD, anxiety disorders, and related conditions for children, teens and adults in Columbus, Ohio and via telehealth throughout Ohio.
Being a private-pay practice allows for greater confidentiality, more choice and control in your care and consistent access to your preferred therapist without insurance-driven limitations.
BrainSpace does not bill insurance directly. Out-of-network superbills are available upon request for clients who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance plan. Reimbursement varies by plan, and clients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider to learn about their out-of-network mental health benefits.

BrainSpace is not in-network with insurance plans. However, superbills can be provided upon request so you may submit them to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement (if your plan includes this benefit).

Most clients begin treatment by meeting weekly, which helps build momentum and support early progress. However, scheduling is always individualized — some people benefit from more or less frequent sessions at the start. As treatment progresses and symptoms improve, session frequency typically tapers until we determine that treatment goals have been met and it is appropriate to transition out of therapy.

In accordance with the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected costs of your care. A written estimate can be provided upon request before you schedule services or at any point during treatment. If you have questions about your estimate, we are happy to discuss them with you.
